For many people using apps to find love, dating can feel like a second job. But for a price, you can outsource some of the work — to someone like Steve Dean. An online dating consultant, Dean works with clients to improve their chances of finding the right match. His goal, he says, isn’t to game the algorithm. It’s to help people present the best version of themselves online so that they can find real, meaningful connections offline.
