He has a deep passion for covering soccer, telling the stories of people and places with deep ties to the sport through family, culture, geography and politics. He has covered every World Cup since 1994, plus six Women's World Cups for 14 overall. His assignments have taken him to 30 countries, from Barbados and Brazil to South Korea and South Africa.
